Fastest Ride On Ice: Out Motorsports + Bridgestone Winter Driving School

Bridgestone has put together a one-day version of their Fastest Ride On Ice performance driving school just for Out Motorsports! Located in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado, you will learn advanced skid control, the best use of traction, emergency/threshold braking, and how to maximize weight transfer.

You’ll drive an exclusive fleet of Toyota Gazoo Racing vehicles – your own car is not required. You’ll get time in the turbocharged GR Supra, the boxer engine GR86, and the 3-cylinder, turbocharged all-wheel drive GR Corolla. Extended time is spent exploring the handling nuances of different drive train configurations (front, rear and all-wheel drive). Both manual and automatic transmission cars are available.

Fastest Ride on Ice is a fast-paced, competitive class designed to challenge even the most experienced drivers. You will have semi-private coaching and plenty of time to practice and apply advanced skills used by world-class rally drivers.

Accommodations

We have a room block at Gravity Haus Steamboat, at the heavily-discounted rate of $359 per night. Book by Saturday, November 30, 2025 to get this rate and have the resort and parking fees waived. Given the program’s structure, we need all attendees to book at this hotel.

Travel

You are on your own for travel in and out of Steamboat Springs. Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) is located nearby and many large airlines do fly in here. Steamboat Springs is roughly a 3.5 hour drive from Denver.

Bridgestone will move our group to and from the Winter Driving School with their shuttle, and much of Steamboat Springs is walkable or accessible by the free Steamboat Springs Transit bus system. No rental cars are technically required.

• Fly in to Steamboat Springs.
• Check in to Gravity Haus Steamboat and get unpacked!
• 7:30 PM: Group dinner

Friday, January 23

• 7:30 AM: Meet at Steamboat Grand – quick walk from our hotel
• 8:30 AM: Transport to Bridgestone Winter Driving School via Bridgestone shuttle bus.
• 9:00 AM: Fastest Ride On Ice – Morning Session
• 12:00 PM: Lunch break. Lunch provided thanks to Bridgestone.
• 1:00 PM: Fastest Ride On Ice – Afternoon Session
• 5:00 PM: BWDS concludes, transport back to Gravity Haus Steamboat on shuttle bus.
• 7:00 PM: Group dinner

Saturday, January 24

• Choose your own adventure around Steamboat Springs! Options include:
  • Skiing or snowboarding at Steamboat
  • Relaxing at Strawberry Park Hot Springs
    • Take a shuttle from downtown Steamboat
    • Cash only, no credit cards accepted
  • More activities detailed here, to include:
    • Gondola rides
    • Horseback riding
    • Snowmobile tours
    • Snow tubing
• 6:30 PM: Group dinner
