SUMMARY:June Monthly Chat
DESCRIPTION:Topic:Your Favorite Convertibles \n\n\n\nIt’s Pride month\, and that brings to mind images of parades with queer folks of all kinds draped on or hanging out of convertibles! Tell us about your favorite convertible\, past or present\, and why it’s special to you. \n\n\n\nTo make this more interesting\, you may not discuss the Mazda Miata because 99.9% of people love it and know why it’s special already. Let’s go a bit broader than “the easy button” of roadsters here. \n\n\n\nWhen\, Where\, and How:Click “Going” below if you plan to join us! The link to our Zoom meeting will be sent out *via email* to RSVP’d members at 6:30 PM ET on Wednesday\, June 2. If you aren’t yet a member\, use this link to join us. Membership costs less than one crappy beer from your favorite bar and you don’t have to yell (usually) for others to hear you.

SUMMARY:Let's Talk LGBTQ: Breaking Down Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity to Be a Better Ally
DESCRIPTION:June is Pride month\, and we’re taking some time to chat with the supportive folks that we are so fortunate to have in our lives. Are you generally supportive of the LGBTQ people in your orbit\, but not always sure what to say for fear of getting something wrong? Do you not understand “the pronoun thing?” Do you want to understand how to intelligently talk about the various people in the queer community? \n\n\n\nLet’s get comfortable being uncomfortable\, y’all. \n\n\n\nJoin Out Motorsports for a brief online session that breaks down the differences between birth sex\, sexual orientation\, gender identity\, and gender expression. We’ll chat for roughly 25 minutes\, with time for Q&A afterward. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHave a question you want answered? Submit it here – anonymously – before the event: \n\n\n\nhttps://forms.gle/kTw2zakaBArjs8MT7 \n\n\n\nDue to overwhelming response\, this will be hosted on YouTube as a Live Stream. We’ll start promptly at 8 PM Eastern. Please join us using this link: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis session is free\, but if you’re so compelled\, please consider a donation to The Trevor Project. The Trevor Project provides crisis counseling and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ people under the age of 25: \n\n\n\nhttps://give.thetrevorproject.org/give/330001/#!/donation/checkout
