SUMMARY:Minnesota Fall Road Rally 2025
DESCRIPTION:As we approach a decade of MN Fall Meets\, we’re coordinating with Out Motorsports to keep the good times rolling! Join us for a Sunday drive of twists and turns in the Minnesota River Valley\, with coffee and breakfast in the morning as we organize and stage\, and a late lunch at Stone Barn Pizza\, as well as a kickoff dinner\, brunch and more shenanigans on Saturday. \n\n\n\nEnjoying the roads is only half the fun – if you’re driving solo and open to meeting new people\, we’ll randomly pair you with a willing passenger or two. If you are more interested in riding and chatting than driving yourself\, register as a “free agent” passenger and we’ll pair you with a driver. If you’re driving and bringing someone along\, that’s great too! \n\n\n\nYour registration fee includes breakfast at the morning meeting point\, as well as buffet style entrees and tables and chairs for the Saturday evening kickoff party.  \n\n\n\nOnly those registered for this event may attend our drive. \n\n\n\nThis drive route features almost no stoplights and open roads with minimal traffic\, apart from the errant tractor\, Equinox\, or trailer. When registering\, please choose your desired pace of drive group. We will run up to seven drive groups on a 10-minute interval\, ideally limiting each group to 8 cars to stay within radio range. \n\n\n\nAs these events are carefully planned ahead of the start date\, all drivers and passengers must register below! Please help us help you have a great weekend and register by Wednesday\, September 10. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWeekend Schedule\n\n\n\nFriday\, September 11\n\n\n\n\n9:00 PM: Meet up organically at Eagle|MPLS – find your friends and hang out over a drink or four.\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\, September 12\n\n\n\n\n9:00 AM – Noon: Caffeine and Octane OKTOBERFEST at AutoMotorplex Medina – Be prepared to walk through a crowd of awesome vehicles in some of the nicest garage condos in Minnesota!\n\n\n\nNoon – 7:00 PM: Choose your own adventure – we’ll be setting up for the evening kickoff party!\n\n\n\n7:00 PM – midnight: Kickoff Party and registration at the Heaux Chateau! Pick up your name tag and lanyard and let us know you’re here. We’ll also help you join Out Motorsports at this time if you’re interested! Buffet-style food will be provided\, but if you want to bring a Midwestern dish you’re proud of go ahead and add to the smorgasbord. Address will be emailed to all registered. \n\n\n\n\nSunday\, September 13\n\n\n\n\n8:30 AM: Those in the metro area\, start heading on down to Red Wing (~1 hr 20 min drive from Brooklyn Park)\n\n\n\n10:00 AM: ‘Transportation and Tea’ aka Cars & Coffee! Get to know your other drivers and passengers and enjoy breakfast and coffee at our assembly point in Red Wing!\n\n\n\n10:45 AM: All hands’ meeting. We’ll go over some pre-drive information to make sure everyone’s on the same page\, get drive route maps and passenger pairings sorted\, and head out.\n\n\n\n11:00 AM: Drive Group A leaves.\n\n\n\n11:10 AM: Drive Group B leaves.\n\n\n\n11:20 AM: Drive Group C leaves.\n\n\n\n11:30 AM: Drive Group D leaves.\n\n\n\n11:40 AM: Drive Group E leaves.\n\n\n\n11:50 AM: Drive Group F leaves.\n\n\n\n12:00 PM: Drive Group G leaves.\n\n\n\n2:45 PM or so onward: Arrive at our lunch destination and chow down on some pizza. Enjoy some free time to catch up with others\, and say your goodbyes as we all go our separate ways home.\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Bring\n\n\n\n\nA full tank of gas/a full charge – there are no fueling or charging stops during the drive\, so make sure you will be able to make it to our destination.\n\n\n\nAn empty bladder – Our route will include a stop with restrooms\, but it’s a long drive and we’re only planning for one stop.\n\n\n\nA two-way/FRS radio – We will be using these to call directions and keep the group together. If you do not have your own\, there will be extras floating around that you may be able to borrow. But if you can bring your own\, please do. They are cheap and plentiful on Amazon. We recommend Midland or Motorola if you would like to buy your own.\n\n\n\nYour Common Sense – Please remember that we are using public roads\, and there will be traffic\, debris\, etc. on our route. This is not a race\, it is not a time trial. It is a Follow-The-Leader style cruise with some nice hills and twisties. Do not expect open and free roads to speed as you wish.\n\n\n\n\nThis is not a venue in which to explore your limits as a driver or the limits of your vehicle. Keep your eyes up\, keep your speeds reasonable\, and drive safely. Anyone driving in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave and may be blacklisted from future events of this nature.
