Our friend Mason once joked that a Midwestern trip to the grocery store was a quick hundred miles away. Join Out Motorsports for a full day of winding roads through Wisconsin’s Driftless Region\, with donuts and coffee in the morning\, a lunch stop mid-drive\, and a classic Swiss group dinner to cap it all off. \n\n\n\nOur route will take place in New Glarus\, Wisconsin – home of New Glarus Brewing Company and known as America’s Little Switzerland. This’ll be about two hours from Chicago and four hours from Minneapolis on some of the best roads the area has to offer. \n\n\n\nSocialization is the name of this game! If you’re driving solo and open to meeting new people\, we’ll randomly pair you with a willing passenger or two. If you are more interested in riding and chatting than driving yourself\, register as a “free agent” passenger and we’ll pair you to a driver. If you’re driving and bringing someone along\, that’s great too! \n\n\n\nThis drive route features almost no stoplights and open roads with minimal traffic. When registering\, please choose your desired pace of drive group. We will run up to four drive groups on a 15-minute interval. \n\n\n\nAs these events are carefully planned ahead of the start date\, all drivers and passengers must register below! Please help us help you have a great weekend and register by Wednesday\, June 17 at 5 PM CT. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccommodations\n\n\n\nWe have a room block at the Chalet Landhaus Inn. Please call (608) 527-5234 and mention you are booking for the Out Motorsports rally. King or Two Double Bed rooms are available at $165/night. You must call and book by May 18 to secure this rate. \n\n\n\nWeekend Schedule\n\n\n\nFriday\, June 19\n\n\n\n\nCheck in at our host hotel. No matter where you’re actually staying\, grab your name tag and let us know you’re here!\n\n\n\nDinner is on your own\, though groups will undoubtedly form to run off and eat.\n\n\n\nSocial time at the host hotel. Please clean up after yourself and keep noise to a dull roar.\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\, June 20\n\n\n\n\n9:30 AM: Meet-up and check-in begins. Enjoy coffee and donuts on us\, and get to know your other drivers and passengers!\n\n\n\n10:45 AM: All hands’ meeting. We’ll go over some pre-drive information to make sure everyone’s on the same page\, get drive route maps and passenger pairings sorted\, and head out.\n\n\n\n11:00 AM: Drive Group A leaves.\n\n\n\n11:15 AM: Drive Group B leaves.\n\n\n\n11:30 AM: Drive Group C leaves.\n\n\n\n11:45 AM: Drive Group D leaves.\n\n\n\nMidway: Lunch stop! We’ll take a breather at a park along our route for sandwiches\, thanks to Edelweiss Autowerks.\n\n\n\n2:30 PM or so onward: Drive groups return. Enjoy some free time to catch up with others\, take each other on rides (as always happens) and clean up before dinner.\n\n\n\n6:00 PM: Group dinner! Dinner is included as part of your registration\, all are welcome and encouraged to join.\n\n\n\n\nSunday\, June 21\n\n\n\n\nSay your goodbyes and head home!\n\n\n\n					\n											\n											\n							\n				\n					\n					\n					\n				\n				\n											\n								\n						\n						\n							\n				\n					\n					\n					\n				\n				\n											\n								\n						\n						\n							\n				\n					\n					\n					\n				\n				\n											\n								\n						\n										\n																		\n											\n											\n					\n													\n							\n								\n								\n															\n													\n							\n								\n								\n															\n													\n							\n								\n								\n															\n											\n					\n					\n							\n																																\n													\n												\n													\n									\n\n\nWhat to Bring\n\n\n\n\nA full tank of gas/a full charge – there are no fueling or charging stops during the drive\, so make sure you will be able to make it approximately 120 miles to our destination.\n\n\n\nAn empty bladder – There will be one stop along our route with restrooms; it is a public park so plan accordingly.\n\n\n\nA two-way/FRS radio – We will be using these to call directions and keep the group together. If you do not have your own\, there will be extras floating around that you may be able to borrow. But if you can bring your own\, please do. They are cheap and plentiful on Amazon. We recommend Midland or Motorola if you would like to buy your own.\n\n\n\nYour Common Sense – Please remember that we are using public roads\, and there will be traffic\, debris\, etc. on our route. This is not a race\, it is not a time trial. It is a Follow-The-Leader style cruise with some nice hills and twisties. Do not expect open and free roads to speed as you wish.\n\n\n\n\nThis is not a venue in which to explore your limits as a driver or the limits of your vehicle. Keep your eyes up\, keep your speeds reasonable\, and drive safely. Anyone driving in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave and may be blacklisted from future events of this nature. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to our sponsors\, supporting this weekend yet again!
